Day 01 : Cochin
On Arrival at Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway station you w

ill be welcomed by our tour representative and transfer to hotel .Afternoon proceed for a local tour of Cochin .You will be transferred to Cochin Harbour to board a speed boat which takes you to the gate way of the Arabian Sea .On arrival fort Cochin transfer to the island and proceed for a local tour which covers Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets .Evening return back to Cochin Harbour .Evening visit Cochin beach and 6.30pm proceed for a Kathakali show Kerala's own classical dance drama program later return back to hotel and over night stay at Cochin .

Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar (120km-3hrs)
After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel & embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar covered with unending expanse of tea plantation. The panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantation is an un forgettable experience.

On arrival check in resort and rest of the day is at leisure at resort and you can make use of all resort facilities like health club ,Gym , out door games ,etc and over night stay at resor.

Day 03 : Munnar
Morning after breakfast at resort proceed for an exciting local tour of Munnar.

Visit Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Pothamedu (view of tea, coffee &cardamom plantation&breath taking hills &lush mountains) the Echo point, Thoovanam falls, Top station Diary farm, Mattupety Lake &dam etc and over night stay at Munnar.

Day 04 : Munnar – Thekkedy (100km – 2.5hrs)
Morning have breakfast at resort later check out resort and drive to Thekkedy .Thekkedy is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called as Periyar.

On arrival check in resort afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc evening you can take a Elephant ride at Periyar wild life and rest of the day is at leisure and over night stay at resort

Day 05 : Thekkedy – Kumarakom (130km- 3hrs)
Morning have breakfast at resort later check out resort and drive to Kumarakom a place best known for the honeymooners. It is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. The lush green vegetation and the climate attract a number of tourists to this place. On reaching Kumarakom check in the backwater resort and later on move out for the local tour. Visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary, and rest of the day is at leisure at resort and you can make use of resort facilities ,Swimming pool ,Health club ,out door and indoor games and you can also take a Ayurveda Massage at resort and over night stay at resort

Day 06 : Kumarakom – Alleppey (House boat Cruise- 22hrs )
Morning after breakfast transfer to deluxe houseboat to enjoy the 22 hours of backwater cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey. The House boat will reach Back water resort were you will be staying previous night This journey is considered to be one of the best attractions. The house boat is fully furnished with single and double bedrooms, sundeck, private balcony and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, Oarsmen & cabin assistant. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. Over night stay at House boat .

Day 07 : Alleppey
Morning have breakfast at house by the time House boat would have reached Alleppey check out house boat by 9.30am and you will be transferred to Alleppey Backwater resort . Relax for sometime and afternoon move out for the local tour of Alleppey, visit Alleppey Beach, Kuttanad – the rice bowl of Kerala, and so on. Later in the evening check into the resort for an overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 08 : Alleppey – Kovalam (170km – 3hrs)
Morning after breakfast at resort drive to Kovalam. Thirty years ago, Kovalam was a hippy idyll: a picture perfect tropical beach; a traditional fishing village providing fresh fish, fruits and toddy (coconut beer). Today it is one of the world famous tourist destinations for Beach lovers. Kovalam was brought to the public eye by the Maharaja of Travancore .On arrival Kovalam transferred to beach resort rest of the day is at leisure to relax on the beach shore and you can make use of resort facilities, Swimming pool, Health club, out door and indoor games and you can also take a Ayurveda Massage at resort and over night stay at resort.

Day 09 : Kovalam
Morning have breakfast at resort and later move out for a local tour of Kovalam and Trivanduram visit covering Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. And over night stay at Kovalam beach resort.

Day 10 : Kovalam – Trivanduram (16km – 20mints)
Morning have breakfast at resort later transfer to airport/Railway station to board your flight/Train to onward destination

7 reasons why gold prices are falling

1. Curb on gold import

Tough measures taken by both the government and the RBI to curb gold import amid slowing investment demand against the backdrop of a strong rally in equities, which is emerging as a preferred investment asset class, are taking some sheen out of the yellow metal.

2. Higher domestic gold inventories

India was the top consumer of the metal in 2014 and the second biggest after China in the first quarter of this year.

Higher domestic gold inventories is also having an impact on price movements of the yellow metal, a bullion trader said.

3. Concerns over monsoon

Demand for gold in India is also sluggish as concerns over a weak monsoon still remain.

Farmers are key to the country's bullion demand.

Nearly two-thirds of India's gold demand comes from rural areas where jewellery is a traditional store of wealth for millions who have no access to the formal banking system.

4. Massive selling in China

China on Monday dumped a huge amount of gold on the market, causing the price of the precious metal to fall drastically.

Reports that China gold reserves were half the expected level added additional selling pressure on gold.

According to reports, some 33 tonnes were sold in the Shanghai spot market on Monday as investors sought to shift focus to other avenues.



5. Stronger US dollar

A stronger greenback makes dollar-denominated commodities more expensive for buyers using weaker currencies. That tends to dent demand and, in turn, pull prices lower.

In wider markets, the dollar hit a three-month high against a basket of currencies, making dollar-priced gold more expensive for holders of other currencies.

"The current downswing in Indian gold prices is directly related to the strengthening of the US dollar in recent times. We are hoping that the present trend may be arrested soon and the prices could stabilize within a month or so," said Mumbai Jewellers' Federation president Rakesh Shetty.
